Podcast intro
When you jostle a jar, whatever sloshes out is what was already in the jar. The same is true of people. When we are easily irritated, annoyed, exasperated, angered, it is because our hearts are already churning with acid inside. The real question is not why acid sloshes out of us, but why it is in us to start with. That’s what Paul is getting at when he says, “Love is not provoked.” (1Cor 13.5.) I hope you enjoy the radio show. Thanks for listening. –Alan Burrow
